Hi,
I have a DK4210SE Cab, when I lift an implement from the 3 point hitch it shakes and stutters as it goes up, coming down is smooth and it's fine when I stop trying to lift it, anyone have any ideas what might be causing the shaking when lifting only?

Thanks

It could be low on fluid or 3pt control valve acting up .

First thing I'd check is, low on hydraulic oil!

There is also a sensitivity adjustment on the MLS valve. There is an adjustment video on YouTube.

Had this issue with a brand new dk45se. On this particular tractor, after removing the operators seat you can unbolt the MLS and pull it right out. Whole thing is about the size of a beer can, maybe a bit bigger. There is a needle valve held down by a spring, you can see it clearly on the side of the MLS valve itself without having to disassemble it further. The needle was sidways in its slot, obviously an issue from the manufacturer of the MLS valve. I simply removed the spring and needle, set the needle in, properly seated, threw it all back together and the problem was solved. No special tools needed for this exercise. I was working with Kioti at the time to try and solve the problem, This particular dealership was admittedly only sufficient for basic service, but they were allowing me to do the work in my own shop while they would provide me with any parts needed. I reported back with the findings and they sent me a brand new, $800 MLS valve in exchange for the one I had sorted out. There was nothing more wrong with that MLS valve after repair, the needle valve seat look fine and 3 point hitch functioned as it should, but they obviously needed the MLS valve for a number of reasons.

At any rate, that's one possible issue. I hope this is helpful.

You probably sorted it out by now, but I'd check the draft control. I had a pto clutch replaced on my ford 5610 and afterward, the bush hog would shudder occasionally when I was bushhogging and the lift was definitely not smooth. I first thought something got whacked on the bush hog, but couldn't find anything wrong with it. Turned out the draft control lever got moved during the PTO brake install and it had never occurred to me to check it since I don't use it. Set it all at way down and the problem disappeared.

The thread title made me think that there are times it would be handy to have a "bouncy" 3PH. This would be in the form of a small accumulator plumbed into the 3PH circuit with a on/off valve. The accumulator would provide cushioning when roading a tractor with an attachment mounted on the 3PH. It would be a similar setup to those used on FEL's to provide load cushioning when running on a rough path.
Anyone heard of such a thing?

I totally agree with you. Every time I road the tractor with either the tiller or the brush mower on the back, that idea come to my mind. Specially on roads full of potholes.

The main problem I see is that different implements will have different weights, so the accumulator pressure would need to constantly be adjusted. Accumulators for loaders are usually filled with nitrogen and are set to a certain pressure that will handle the loader weight with an empty bucket.

This is the system Deere uses on some of its front end loaders:
Adding an accumulator to the 3PH would be interesting in that the 3PH linkage would try to bring the implement back up to the top of the stroke on its own after the accumulator let it drop down to cushion the load. Finding a place to tee the accumulator into the 3PH plumbing might be a challenge as most of the plumbing is internal.

I was wondering if you ever found a fix for this. I have the same tractor except a 47 doing the exact same thing.....no luck talking to the dealer
