Hi all,
I have a Kubota B7510, new to this and am looking to purchase a new/used Box Blade to use around my house mainly for putting in a stone driveway, carving out trails, and putting in some food plots. I was planing on a 60" box blade unless someone tells me other. Is there a big difference is the manufacters such as King Kutter, Bush Hog, Woods and several other brands? Also what weight would you recommend for my Tractor?

I had a B7500 which is the same tractor except for the 1/4" inching valve.
I had a 48" KK bb that would bring that tractor to a stop even after I filled the rear tires.
I wouldn't go any bigger than 48" for that tractor and the KK will work just fine.

I have been looking into the same thing for a while now. My situations a little different but my questions are similar. I have a 2006 Kubota L39 TLB and a (1988) Bolens G214 (21hp 4x4 - Iseki Deisel engine 470 hrs). I have been debating on whether I should get a box blade that either can pull with the understanding that I would get better performance out of the L39 in most cases. To cover my wheels on the L39 I would need atleast a 6ft BB. Only need a 5ft'er to cover the other tractor. I don't think the 21hp tractor would handle a 6ft BBvery well (not even sure it would handle a 5ft'er) but the extra 6inches on each side would be nice to grade up close to the creek bank without having to get to close. From what I have gathered weight of the BB will directly impact quality of performance as well as the durabiltyof the implement. The KK's are lighter but a heck of a lot cheaper then Woods or Land Pride. Obviously the quality of the latter 2 is said to be much better. I may be willing to sacrifice some durabilty if I could get decent result out of the KK type which I could use with either. I haven't made up my mind yet as I am also considering adding a landscape rake and\or a pulverizer to the mix as I have some variety in my needs. I'll be interested in others comments related to size and weight recommendations for your 7510. While much nicer than my 21 hp bolens I think the power of the 2 would be comparable but I wouldimagineyou have a couple hundred pounds of weight that would be benefical in most csituation related to implement work.

The dealer recommeded the light duty 5ft Woods to give the extra width for the rear tires but the Owner's manual says 54". Would I still stall the Tractor if the teeth are not all the way down?

Stalling it and stopping it can be two different things. It never stalled the motor just loss of traction.
I would have the rippers all the way down and trying to pull the dirt at the same time in low range.

I had the same concerns and struggled with the size. My owners manual told me maximum size but I went with the size that gives me a path that extends six inches wider than me rear tires. I am sure glade I did in order to get next to banks or surfaces without interference from my tires. I have 29HP and my L2800 with loaded tires pulls it with no problem with all six scarf-er blades fully extended. It has pulled rocks from the ground bigger than you can imagine. KK is what I use and they are built very tough. I was so pleased with the BB that I bought the KK rock rake and wow what a job it does for grading roads. Once I rip up the buried rocks with the back blade I can tilt my rock rake and windrow them. I pick them up with the FEL.

I am loooking for an eight foot rear blade to use on a larger tractor. My rear wheels are set at 84 inches so I want one that is wider than the wheels. I am also looking for a very heavy duty blade. Is Woods the only way to go?????

for the record, I have a Woods GB60 for a Kubota B7610, the same basic tractor as you, albeit a little more HP.
