It's cheap made garbage. Fix it by fab bing stronger steel or buy a better built implement.

Post your pictures in this thread.

Exactly what model and what brand Box Blade did you buy from TSC? Did you buy the Box Blade in NEW condition?

Exactly what model and brand tractor were you using to pull the Box Blade?

What work were you doing with the Box Blade when it folded?

Support is not automatic.

Box Blades can be repaired at any welding shop.

If you or a friend don't weld, take it to a shop and add another plate to make a clevis-style hitch. This is an easy, much stronger system.

Agree. We need pictures and info on what you were using it with and how you used it.

That's exactly what I did with mine. Having the pin captured at both sides of the hitch arm ball is critical in an implement with that much force exerted on it...this is doubly true of the lighter-duty models (now, something else will have to bend or break!).

Yes, and having a non-captured pin on one is a sure give-away that it's a light duty implement at best. I don't think you'll find any medium duty implements without a clevis-style hitch.

Was the box blade duty rated for the HP of your tractor?
