I continued to hunt the used market, I'm still not seeing anything though. I researched a bit more into the ROBB and it's growing on me, I'm not seeing much for online retailers though. Per the RhinoAG and Bush Hog sites there are dealers for each around 90 minutes away from me. The closest Dirt Dogg dealer is very far. I'll need to give them a call, each of their sites says nothing about being a dealer of each respective brand. I'll probably call my local dealer too to get a quote on the Kioti BB.

Quick question for you guys - I was looking at a few of the EA BBs. Anything over say, 600 pounds is rated for 60-125 HP. Seems like the only things they have listed in my HP range are sub-600 pounds. Any idea why?

Since a BB is not a PTO implement, I would disregard any HP ratings for throe BB’s. One caution however is often as you get into higher HP tractors you jump to Cat II implements. Your tractor is rated to lift north of 2500 lbs at 24” behind the hitch (I generally take this location to be at the rear pivots for the lower lift arms. I have not looked at the EA website for BB, but as long as you stay in your 3PH Cat, weight should be a non-issue for your tractor.

Sorry, I have no answer for you regarding the ETA box blades.

A lot of people that have ROBBs would never have any other kind. They work differently than the std box blades and take no top link adjustment once the top link is set. A std type box blade requires a lot of top link adjustment to be most effective. Thus the need for a hydraulic top link.

I happen to have 3 Gannon ROBBs.

An 81" unit at 1000lbs.
A 65" unit at 800lbs.
And a 36" unit at 140lbs for our garden tractor.

Gannon discontinued them in 2006.:(

Before the hydraulic actuated scarifiers came about, the ROBB box blades were the deluxe units that most every commercial user would have.;)
