DMW, kind of sounds like what I had in mind, cutting the grass short might help.

I started filling in some of the low spots, they are pretty hard to identify. I cut the grass short and rolled the area also. I am probably not going to be happy with it but do not really want to till it up and start over. In the pic the bare spots are what I filled in low areas. They look high in the pics but aren’t. The problem is I will probably only fix about half of the bumps if I am lucky.

All the suggestions in the thread sound fine to level off the ground BUT you aren't really solving the problem you have... Moles

A couple of years after we moved into this house I discovered we had a mole problem in our front yard. I called the CT Aggie Station close to us and they recommended we apply a 'milky spore' over the yard. It kills the Japanese Beetles grubs that the moles feed on. Its safe for everything else.

An added bonus the spores continue to spread across the lawn. They told me it would last 20 yrs. It did and no more moles. 25 yrs later the moles started to come back. We just spread another application of it this year. Good for another 20-25 yrs.

Yes, I do fight the moles. I use traps and get most of them but it is still a problem. I have gotten two but there is still one evading my attempts.

What are milky spores and how did you apply them?

Looks like it would cost me between $500 and $700 to treat my yard with milky spore.

Wow! I had about 1/2 acre to treat in the front yard. It cost me about $90 on amazon for enough for two applications.

I am not sure exactly how much I mow, but around 1.5 acres, maybe a little more.
