I have R 4 tires, 6 foot with scarifiers would be fine for me soil is hard to say, mostly soft dirt 4 to 5 inches, below that starts rocks and stones, and of coarse in the middle of the field, a huge boulder sticking up, thanks for the help. Dennis

Should be ok under general conditions. From what I can tell, the L4400 doesn't have draft control. That means that you should not be surprised when those R4s spin occasionally when the BB happens to take a really big bite

The L4400 can have draft control as an option. I have a L4400 with R1s and am using a 7 foot BB it pulls it just fine even when I add as much as 600# weight the only issue I have with it is it sticks out past my tires about 6 inches on each side and gets hung on trees when I am in the woods. The extra width is nice when ditching or pulling gravel. If I were going to do it over I would get a 6' JMHO.
