Does it completely cover the rear tire tracks?

Yes. It's on the tractor right now, so I could take a few pictures for you when I get home if that would help.

I had similar questions for the exact same purposes. MtnViewRanch steered me in the right direction to a grading scraper.

This is what I went with for my JD 2720: Dirt Dog Manufacturing and I paid right at $1000 for it. It's just outside your price range, but well worth it, if you ask me.

I would NOT go any larger than 60" for your tractor. My tractor is essentially the same as yours, and the 60" scraper is all it wants to handle. Think low range, 4x4, diff lock, and all four wheels grabbing and slow progress. It does an excellent job for me, though. I used it to smooth out the yard for our new home and for maintaining our 1/4 mile drive. One trip up and back down the driveway and it's good to go!

Good luck!

Glad that I was able to help. What a lot of people don't take into consideration is simply the conditions on hand and that those can change in front of your eyes. :confused2: Lots of ways to do things, and just that can alter what is required. ;)

Thanks for posting the pics. That helps a lot. That box blade looks like it was meant for the 2032. Sheesh, I'm gonna feel bad putting a tan King Kutter behind mine. I wish the Frontier wasn't so much more expensive. Guess I could fork over $15 for a couple cans of JD green spray paint.....
