Box Blade

How aggressive can I dig with a Box blade? If I take several passes over the same spot could a level a 2 or 3 foot "hump" in my yard?

Yes, any size tractor, any size box blade. Smaller just takes longer (more passes).

You can basically dig as deep as you want with one, depending on how much time you want to spend (also the BB has to be wider than the tractor wheels.) I have heard of people using them to dig as deep as 5-6' for a septic tank, just keep making passes until you get down as far as you want.
