Box Blade

Is a King Cutter box blade worth buying?? I have heard their equipment is built kinda cheap as is thier price? I am just a weekened warrior with 12 acreas so not to hard on it. Any advice will be welcome .

I do have a box blade ( bush hog) . If you work on sand or soft ground, any will do. But if you work on rough ground, you should buy heavyer built. I,ve notice that the 2 lower 3pt hitch attach are bolted on one side.... if you compare with a bush hog or any heavier built box blade, the lower links are caught between 2 steel plate so almost impossible to break. But as stated before all depends on the type of soil you are working with. If you get caught on a stone, root ...it will pull very hard on those pins. It is my opinion. Have a nice day.

I would get the King Kutter Box with the Hinged back blade. It has thicker side plates then the professional series.

I have had KK BBs. They seemed to be made exactly like the no-brand
units I have had in the past. Like other brands (I have also had Woods,
Midwest, and LandPride), KingKutter probably has multiple grades of BB.

BBs MUST be matched to your tractor's weight, or you will tear them up.

A light duty BB will have only 1/8" side plates and a welded-on cutting
edge. Heavier duties have 3/16, 1/4, 3/8", and up sides, and replaceable/
reversible cutting edges. The KK I had had 1/4" sides and it was
60-in wide and weighed in at nearly 500 lb, a decent medium duty unit.
