That's funny! Those Arrow MightyMax forks are the exact model I just bought. They included a black widow spider at no charge.;)

You got away cheap then, there is no black widow option! LOL. Those Arrow forks are the best as are all their products, I'm extremely satisfied with the MightyMax forks.

Kubota Tee, if you don't mind me asking what is the brand of the forks you are using and what is their weight rating. Looks like kubota forks from the color but they really don't manufacture their own. They look real nice and beefy. The dealer has some gray colored forks but no identifier for manufacturer or weight rating. I have a set that I believe is a Bradco but their is no name or number on them. Mine are not the best quality and I have had to weld the back rack numerous times. I would like to get at least a 3-4k rated fork as I believe mine are only rated for 1800lbs. Handling logs for the mill has bent one fork and now they don't sit even, so I need a new set. Thanks!

RB,

My pallet forks were custom made by a local welding company here in town. I gave them a few pictures and provided the QA plate as well as the forks which I picked up from a local Craig's List ad. They asked me what size material to use and then my lack of knowledge really started showing!! I basically told them the weight limit of my FEL and they took it from there. Probably went a lot beefier than needed, but I'd rather have it that way to ensure nothing goes wrong in the future.

They were delivered as raw steel, so I decided to make them look like they were meant to go with the Kubota. I picked up some primer and paint and went at it. Pretty satisfied with the outcome!

Total cost = $850.

Hope this helps,

Hey, Kubota Tee, from the photo it appears that your QH pallet forks are not locked in!

It is no wonder the safety police are on the lookout for you.:D

GW,

You caught me!! I was so excited to get the job done that I completely forgot to lock in the forks!! Good thing all the pressure was downwards. I did end up noticing my forgetfulness as I was putting the forks away and hooking up my bucket again. Breathed a big sigh of relief

Don't use my QA forks all that often, but when I do I'm so glad to have them. They were unbelievably handy when building the house. Get a big grin when a delivery truck pulls up and you're sitting on a tractor with PFs.
Now that I have 2 tractors with QA I might leave the forks on instead of the bucket.

People who don't have QA buckets are missing half the benefits of a FEL....
