My new- (to me)- L2900/ LA480 loader has a bracket on the top/side of the loader bucket. Also a hole and a threaded nut. (both sides) Color and welds look factory.
WHAT is the purpose? kb2.jpg

They are for the support bars used when you separate the loader from the tractor to stabilize it. I believe that there are also bars for the other end of the loader where it connects to the sub frame to make it completely stable when detached.
