Bradco 509 owners question on correct PTO pump

I am looking at the Princo HC PTO 1A and HC PTO 2A pumps and would like to know what you guys think would be the better fit for the 509. The 1A is advertised at about 21 GPM at 540 RPM and the 2A is approx. 11 GPM at 540 RPM. I am leaning towards the 2A, what do you guys think?

I just put a 509 on a Mahindra 3510. the pump is rated at 7.87 GPM and it operates the 509 great at 540 RPM (2000 RPM on Tach) My BH operates off the tractor hydraulics

Are you setting up a completely separate hydraulic system? If so, what size tank are you going to have room for? The tank needs to be sized to the pump and load.

I've got a 511 BH...it needs at least 9 g/m to operate well...I have a 14 g/m unit on it...runs it great even at 1200 tach rpm...I'd say get the 21 g/m unit (if it fits in there) and go about your business...BobG in VA
