The backhoe attachment sat unused for 1.5 yrs. because there was a pinhole leak at the control valves. Some sort of control/relief valve to the right of the main wobble stick valves. Finally had the pinhole fixed by spot welding. Hooked to skid steer and the hoe did not work properly. The main boom will raise the machine off the ground easily but it won't raise itself properly. If you have the booms stretched out it won't raise at all. You can pull the stick arm in and as the bucket gets closer to the machine, the main boom will finally raise. Also, the bucket does not have any strength. In summary, the stick portion of the boom works fine, but the main boom and bucket do not. Any ideas? I have called folks I know and no one has an answer.

If you install a hyd gage in a tee in the IN port of the BH, you can see what is developing pressure and how much.

If any cyl does not work as advertised, it means that the pressure is not being developed and you have a leak in the cyl or the valve.
