Backhoe Bradco Backhoe for Ford

I have a Ford 345C tractor loader with a 26 GPM hydraulic pump to run the loader. I would like to carry that to the backhoe with a power beyond setup through the loader valve. My dealer tells me that the 26gpm flow is too much for a Bradco backhoe attachment. Is this true?

He maybe right, but you can put a flow restrictor in line with the supply pressure hose, and reduce the flow, and a wee-bit-o-pressure also.

We have a old ford backhoe on a 1968 3000 ford but it is 11ft backhoe .The pump is a cesna i think but i dont know the gpm it's running.I would call bradco direct they have a good amount of knowlage on these set ups.The backhoe we have has pressure valve's on it you can adjust.

I'm not a hydraulic expert. But, I thought that the Power Beyond send ALL of the fluid that wasn't used to the next implement in line. If that is true, then you can't just plop in a restriction.

But, you can put an adjustable flow divider from the power beyond and split the flow between the backhoe and the return to tank from the loader.

Surplus Center - Hydraulic Equipment Electric Motors has them and pretty low $. Fer instance, Item 9-2597 would bleed off 7 1/2 gal to the tank and keep 19.5 gal going to the hoe. Might be about right? it's about $45.
