Bradco pallet forks

The local J.D. dealer recommended the Bradco pallet forks as a lower cost option to the ones from J.D.
Does anyone have any experience with these from Bradco?

They are skid steer forks which would require a converter as well as the forks (with the extra weight associated with the converter).

What price were you quoted for what size and weight?

I don't know anything about Bradco, but I ended up buying Bobcat brand. For the quick attach pallet rack and 42" forks I think I paid around $600 new. I was going to do some deal on eBay for a no name setup, but that was only going to save me $50. I don't know what a JD setup costs, but the Bobcat setup was almost half of what the same thing from Kubota was going to cost me.

I am also interested in the JD (or other) pallet forks. How do you plan to attach the Bobcat forks to your 2305 (according to your profile)?

I have a 2520 with the 200CX loader, and I know that the attachments aren't going to match up.

According to the J.D. dealer and the Bradco website,

they make forks that fit directly on to the J.D. loader. I've asked the dealer to get a quote and the weight and I will post that info. here when I get it.
I have also heard from HLA Pallet Forks,

and they make a set that mounts to the loader for a list price of $605. They don't have any dealers in my immediate area, so there might be some freight, or a couple hours drive time.

I wonder if we got a group together and got orders for, say, 10 of them if we couldn't get a deal on them -- even if shipped to different places.
Or maybe with such an order in hand, Muhammad could get a special offer advertisement on TBN.

I Have a set of JD forks with the head board that are quick change, I trade back and forth between the 4320 and the 2210. I only payed about $500.00 for them new from my dealer.

I did not care for the aftermarket ones not being able to answer the "how much will I be able to lift" question I asked them. I built my own and went to a local forktruck dealer to pick up a set of used 42" forks for $80.00 . I have a 4100 and I can pick 800lb 60" long load up from the ground to about 3 feet. 600lbs to about 4 feet and 500lbs to 5 feet. I bought an extra set of the quick attach lower pins and upper hooks when I bought my 200cx loader. The main problem with JD's and many of the other pallet fork attachment builders is that they build the thing way too heavy duty for the smaller tractors. You do not need a cage that can do 3000-4000lbs if the tractor cant do it anyway. All that the heavy set ups do is take directly away from the lifting capacity. JDs pallet fork attachment weighs in at a hefty 375lbs ..mine is 230lbs and cost under $200.00 in materials.

I looks good too...not like some of the cobled homemade ones I have seen pics of.

I'm not sure if you have checked out the Kasco pallet forks, but since you are located in Indy, you may want to since they are made in Shelbyville. I have a 42" set from them that are rated for 2200# (much more than my loader will pick up) and I like them very much. They are quick-attach style (skid-steer), but they also make them for your JD style loader. Here is the link Kasco Manufacturing I paid around $650 for mine. I purchased them threw my dealer, and picked them up myself from Kasco to save on shipping.
