i try adjusting the brakes on my case 411 and dont think i'm doing it right. what is the proper procedure for adjusing them.

There should be a nut on the pull rod going to the brake housing. Turning it clockwise should snug them up.

If you have plenty of pedal, but no, or little stopping action, I'd guess the seals are worn, and the brake disc's are oil soaked. If there is oil showing at the bottom of the brake housing, it's more than likely the problem.

IF this is the problem. I'll try to keep an eye on this thread, and pretty well give step by step directions on the procedure. Not a difficult job, but just several steps to make it easier.
