I understand the need for safety as well as a reminder now and then. If you leave the seat of the 55 while it is running and not set the brake a loud beeping sound will continue until it is set. Usually I remember and it is no big problem. Now that I have a backhoe mounted on the tractor and have a very long trench to dig I would prefer to not set the brake and push it forward from the backhoe seat to continue digging. At 10 feet at a time and a 600 foot plus trench I would be jumping on and off the seat more times than I care to count. The ideal situation would be a switch that could eliminate the alarm for a task such as repetitive moves. That way it could be turned back on for non backhoe tasks.
The other problem is I don't like setting the brake after snow plowing in the winter when it is left in a non heated building. The condensation at some point may not want to release it after freezing.
Anyone have a good solution ?
