brakes ferguson to 20

how are the brakes setup on this tractor I bought one and the brakes dont work took drums off looks like shoes are good just the pedals just flop up and down maybe who ever had it before me put it together wrong any info helpful thanks andy

measure the dia of the drum, check the shoes for distance. there is a cam on the end of each shoe on the opposite side from the braking lever. adjust them so the drum will just go on, or put them on and adjust till it stops the drum as you turn it by hand and back of just a bit. do this for each shoe.
