N/a?!
Just purchased my first tractor on Saturday b2650 fel. Of course the ground is soaked here in Delaware. anyway. Playing around with the machine, I noticed the loader drifted down when the control was in the neutral position. The loader also was very unbalanced as it went up and down under power. It kind of racked itself back and forth enough to shake the machine a bit. I was unsure how normal all this was but I knew it didn't seem right. The salesman came out to deliver the 54" bucket they had to order and I told him about my issues. He agreed there was an issue and arranged to pick it up to have it taken back to the dealer to be looked over. Wasn't an hour after he left, I was playing around with some logs and all the sudden a hydro line blew!!! Left side. The line that powers up. Hydro fluid all over and I had to back up the machine wth the bucket dragging. The dealer is going to install a whole new loader attachment at my request. Anyone else have an issue quite like this!? Not complaining, sh&t happens. I'm glad the dealer is close and is taking good care of me.

Sorry to hear about this. Sounds like they messed up the loader install at the dealer (could have been as simple as crossed hose connections). Be careful, as a high pressure hydraulic leak can cause serious injury. Also, since the transmission uses the same reservoir of fluid, don't drive the tractor around with a leak. If you can disconnect the loader to bypass the leak, top off the fluid before driving the tractor around. Otherwise if you can't bypass that leak, keep it parked.

Yes. I only drove the tractor maybe 30 feet. I lost maybe a quart if that. It almost looks like the hose got pinched or bubbled. All the controls worked in the right direction so I didn think it was the lines crossed. It was discouraging but at least it happened so soon where the dealer is going to make every effort to keep me happy. Also, only when I powerd the loader up would fluid actually spray out. You are right, that fluid was coming out with serious pressure.

Now that I'm old, I say, "Be thankful for any problem that can be fixed with a little money or time." Too bad it happen, but be happy that it happened while under warranty and that you have a responsive dealer making good. It's a good thing to cycle all your hydraulic controls on a new machine and see it any hoses are rubbing. I found out the hard way. I cut a hose on my BX-25 that must of been rubbing since day one. Another poster mentioned that the loader stand had been rubbing against his metal lines and almost cut into them. As I don't remove my loader, I removed the stand.
Hope you have nothing but fun from here on out. Attached is a pic of my cut hose.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. My 2620 has a line to the fel that looks rubbed. It wasn't as bad as yours so I taped it and it has held up for almost three years. I'm thinking that when the loader is shipped from Georgia (or wherever) that the packaging leaves a bit to be desired. The 26 hp motor is a working fool however. Mine starts right up and does whatever I need it to do.

As others have said, it's a pain, but could have been worse...

I was tilling my veggie garden with my until-then trusty JD 425. Engine vibration fatigued the end of a metal hydraulic line. Since there's an O-ring, it didn't leak until it popped out of the fitting and barfed a gallon or so of fluid all over the muffler and into the garden. Didn't quite catch fire. The tiller is buried, the wheels are up to their hubs (it was too wet to till...) and I couldn't start it to drive out since the leak was total.

And of course, the line was under the tractor. Had to dis-assemble the machine from the top down to reach it. Pretty much the whole tractor scattered around the garden by the time I got to the fitting. Replaced the line with the upgraded part (that they had kept secret...) and got the bleeping thing out of there.

Gave the machine to my bro-in-law, bought my BX24, dug the contaminated soil out of the garden, and never looked back.

There, feel better now? :)

Z.

I blew a line on mine last year. There were a couple of spots on the FEL where the hoses were rubbing and chaffed through to the steel braids. I had the dealer replace the two hoses and attach the hose protector better where the hoses couple to the tractor side. One of the new hoses blew the next time I used the tractor.... So I brought it back and they popped another hose on it. The dealer was awesome, and super fast about it. It happens!

So the dealer really helped me out and swapped complete loader assemblies. I was happy until I got home and saw a drip from one of the lines. I remained calm and emailed a picture to the salesman. I ended up pulling the line off myself and applying sealant and re tightening. Now no leaks or issues.....WRONG. I found that the SSQA levers were not down equally. On the loader there is a sticker that clearly illustrates how they should be when locked. I can't get the right lever to push down all the way. It's a brand new 54" bucket. What gives!??!?? It's minor but the tractor only has 3 hrs on it and Lo haven't even really used it! I feel like I shouldn't go grinding the powder coat off the brand new bucket. I just hope they can fix this issue too! Anyone else have this issue?

Ive had it where the one or the other lever wouldn't go down because bracket on the the bucket wasnt seated all the way. Once I had to put the bucket down and pick it back up again, and a couple other times I was just able to shake it a little and it fell into place.

Take a look to make sure there isn't any junk where the pin should go, and tilt the lip of the bucket upwards to make sure the bucket is back against the SSQA loader plates, like it should be. Or, let the dealer send someone out to check for you. One problem is enough. Two is one too many.
