When I try to raise my box scraper slowly, nothing happens until mid travel of the lift handle then at that point the transmission/hydraulics start to growl. The scraper does not start to lift until the handle is moved farther back and then it raises at a rapid rate. In other words its all or nothing with noise in between. If I just want to lift the three point, no problem. It only happens when you want to lift it an inch or two.

My transmisson fluid is full. RPMs are 2000+

Sure woild like to know how some of your 2350s act and sound.

Thanks.

Tom,

Mine does/sounds exactly the way yours does. So, either we both should feel glad that there's nothing wrong with them, or we should both be nervous that we both got bum Kubotas. I'm for the former; how about you? :D

You don't have position control - I think for your quarter inching valve if you pull up and release back to midpoint it will make small adjustments. Hold it all the way up & it will move the whole way.

That is correct. The 1/4" valving (QIV) is a far cry from functional IMHO. Some here swear by it but I'll never see the bragging rights of that as a selling feature. I've seen worn out water spigots that work better than the QIV.

There is a large range of motion and a small range of functionality within the operation level / handle's movement. Like was stated in the post above, find the mid-range sweet spot and work from within. I am about ready to convert my old 1965 Wheel Horse adjustment and lever to this thing...

Keep in mind that if it raises or drops too fast you can adjust that with the hydaulic flow control behind your right foot under the seat...

Page 27 of the owners manual says "If noises are heard when implement is lifting after the hydraulic control lever has been activated, the hydraulic mechanism is not adjusted properly. Unless corrected the unit will be damaged. Contact your KUBOTA dealer for adjustment." I should not have read the book, I was happy before that.
