Buying Advice brand new e42 with slow reaction

Just was looking around to see if anyone knows of any kind of hydrolic pressure our flow rate adjustment on these compact excavators. Seems like the reaction time is way slow compared to my old 335. Thanks in advance for the help!

Cycle times are supposed to be just as fast or faster than a 335. There is adjustments for the pump but are pretty intricate because adjustment of 1 thing such as max flow changes all the other settings in the pump and can really rob horsepower. Also each valve spool is metered to only allow maxium amount of flow reguired for that fuction's cycle time. You could have a pump set too low or pilot pressure may be low and not stroking valve spools fully open.
It would be better to have the dealer check it. He has the cycle time specs in his service manual and can reset it if need be. If this is a new machine it would be a warranty repair if the times were off.

Hi have you had the E42 fixed. I have the same problem but bobcat say the cycle times are fine. They lent me a E42 hire machine for two weeks so they could look at mine. The hired machine slews 2.2 seconds faster in one rotation and bobcat said that's ok. The E42 is slower than my old 335. I'm not happy & after paying $98000.00 pissed-off to say the least. Have you had any luck?

What all did you get for $98k? Surely there was a mower or two built into that price?
