Well I just went and tried it and it works with the hoses the way you said to hookup:thumbsup: Thanks TRB!! The drop is slow when I push it down by hand, but raises fast. Wonder if the way I was told to hook it up shortened the pump life? I was using FEL while hoses were hooked up wrong. Only have 2 hrs on it so far.

I do remember him telling me you have to remove the BH to use the lift control or remove the 3 pt. all together, if you want to leave the BH on to mow, to raise or lower the MMM. Otherwise he said you could damage the "jackshaft"?? Now I can't remember if he said lever down or up w/ BH on. I would think up but not sure. Does anyone know which is right?

The one dealer over in NJ talked about that and said they do some kind of modification before they sell the tractors to prevent this from happening. Apparently they remove one of the springs from one of the hitch arms. He pointed it out, it was the arm near the right rear tire. Not sure of the particulars, though.

I ran mine for about 5min in the wrong config. I have had no problems. Still lots of Hydraulic power.

The down speed of the 3pnt can be adjusted by a knob down by your feet.

I haven't used the 3pt much but I believe it is gravity down and power up. I don't think you could have damaged anything by hooking up backwards as you still had power for the FEL and drive.

Well tried her out last night and it worked great. It is hard to get the used to the lift when it raises. I tried to pull the lever slowly but makes a loud noise. All and all it works good, I just try to lift the Boxblade slowly to empty out but have not figured the trick to that yet. I can adjust the lower side with the knob, just not the retract??

I'm thinking lowering the engine rpm is the only effective way to slow down how fast the 3ph lifts.

One more thing to add to the thread I just started. A variable rate lever for the 3 pt. lift. The on/off lever control is terrible.
