CK3510HST
New to this forum, This question might of been asked but here goes

Debating between TYM T354 or CK3510HST both 2017. Just about pulled the trigger on the Kioti until I seen the specs on the TYM. Both dealers are further away therefore im not considering service in my purchase.

Im buying Tractor, loader, backhoe. Complete package.

Ill mentioned that I owned a 2015 ck35hst. Loved it had no issues except the loader was weak for the size of the machine. New model has a huge upgrade in loader performance.

Thoughts ??

:welcome: to TBN.
I am sure you have check what other brands have to offer,I would stick w/my gut feelings if service wasn't a factor.

I am reasonably confident stating that TYM does not manufacture loaders. I believe TYM purchases third-party loaders in the USA and attaches them to tractors imported to North America.

Someone correct me if i am wrong.

I know nothing about origin of TYM Backhoes.

I expect resale on a Kioti would return a significantly higher proportion of your capital, relative to TYM, but as resales are willing seller, willing buyer situations, this is theoretical in practice.

However you are seeking a heavier tractor after two years of ownership. You may wish to buy heavier again, UNLESS YOU BUY ENOUGH TRACTOR.

It has been my experience that you do not experience an immediately discernible increase in tractor capability until the bare tractor weight increases 50%. it takes a 100% increase in bare tractor weight to elicit a "WOW" from the owner of a new, heavier tractor.

Yes resale value is a good point that I did not consider. Plus I just got the quote back from TYM dealer. I couldnt believe when his quote was 7000$ more then the kioti. I think in this case the decision is easier, the kioti is cheaper on purchase and will hold a better resale value..

On the other hand im not sure what you mean by "It has been my experience that you do not experience an immediately discernible increase in tractor capability until the bare tractor weight increases 50%. it takes a 100% increase in bare tractor weight to elicit a "WOW" from the owner for a new, heavier tractor."

In my experience owning three tractors over a ten year period, each heavier than the prior, buying heavier in 10%, 15% or 20% increments accomplishes nothing.

Purchase your second tractor with at least 50% more tractor weight than the one you currently own.
