Just bought a new 2605 H and used it for less than an hour. Shut it down and started it a couple of times. Then started it, put the shuttle lever into fwd and it died. Tried to start it and it just turns over. Seems to me like it is starving for fuel. It’s after hours and I don’t know if the dealer will have a tech that will be able to come out tomorrow being Saturday. Texted the salesman and his response was an unenthusiastic “call service dept in the morning, maybe they can help you”. Any ideas would be appreciated at this point, need to get some work done this weekend. Frustrating since I decided to give Massy a chance after 30 years with my last one being a 1963 MF 65. Last 2 tractors were a JD 5525 and 3810.

Update:
Turns out it is losing prime intermittently. Tech could not find any leaks or loose fittings. Ran the tractor for about another 2 hours and it happened 1 more time. Re-primed it with the pump on top of the filter housing and continued on with my chores. The issue still needs to be chased down. Something is loose somewhere causing it to lose prime overtime. This happens while it is running. Hopefully it will be something simple.

I'd wait for them to service it since it's brand new. If you try to fix it, they may say you caused it.

it's possible that something wasn't tightened/installed properly when they set it up and has come loose.

things happen with new stuff. It's annoying, but once it's fixed, you probably won't have anymore issues.

Good luck

I would recheck all your control levers and such. Perhaps your "safety system" will kill the engine if you call for forward movement and a parking brake is set, or something like that.
Were you using PTO? (Should not affect this).
I wouldn't be surprised if the seat safety switch needs to indicate "occupied" when you attempt to move. If that seat switch isn't happy, the computer may refuse to allow you to move the tractor.
I did have to disable and bypass my seat safety switch so I could lean forward to see the tips of my pallet forks, because it kept shutting off the tractor whenever I leaned forward. (I used a cut off piece of paper clip and tape to jumper it.)

So try it again but be sure to be settled deep into the seat.....

Also, on my 1754, the shutoff system is actually a solenoid that's ACTIVATED for about 10 seconds, which shuts off the fuel. You can hear it click when the shutoff timer expires. In those 10 seconds or so, it won't restart because the comp says it's in shutoff mode. Not sure if my starter will engage or not during these few seconds.

On top of everything that's been said, if you do go ahead with your own troubleshooting - aside from various safety switches - and find a defective part you're unlikely to be able to score one before Monday anyhow.

all the masseys (4, 23 to 32 hp) and mahindras (2, 32 and 42hp) I deal with the safety switches failing will cause them all to not even turn over.
think you maybe be on right track when you speak of fuel issues.

Look in fuel filter to see if fuel is there, if so injector pump may have issues..... IF no fuel in filter bowl, then you have issue between fuel bowl and tank.... Some where in all this there should be electric pump between tank and injector pump, with key on you should be able to hear it....

Mine did sort of the same thing. The fuel line between the filter base going to the pump had dry rotted and was leaking fuel. Pump the hand primer and you should be able to see if that's the case on yours, it will leak fuel.

Has there been any other updates on this issue? I’m dealing with a 2023 2606 H with fuel issues. I’ve replaced the primer housing still have same problem. I’ve went as far as taking quick connector off tank and ran new lines. Put a clear fuel line on filter to injection pump. Line has a lot of air in it. Seems like the filter system is allowing air in to system. I’ve went as far to put a clear line from tank to injection pump. No air doing this and doesn’t lose prime.
