Branson2515HST
I have a new Branson 2515 HST w/like 3 hrs on it. Was using the loader today and decided to stop for a few minutes. Went back to start again and could not get the tractor to move..Fluid level is full , Checked engagement 4x4 /4x2..wasnt in between gears, all other hyd. functions work well it just wont move..When I engage the F/R pedal the Neutral indicator on the dash goes off like it want to go . Are there any switches that would cause this . I looked at the linkage and the only switch i seen was for the Brakelight.

My hope is that there is someone on here that has more knowledge than myself regarding these tractors that could save me a trip to the dealer as its a 150 mi. drive one way. Maybe a minor adjustment or something I can address is what I was looking for.

Did you try all three Ranges? Does it happen on all 3? Also, when you press the pedals to go F/R, can you tell any change of noise on the transmission as if it's spinning or nothing changes?

I tried all 3 ranges…..same , engaging the F/R pedals will increase engine rpm but no movement

I don't know how the linkage from the pedals connects to the actual HST unit, but it sounds like something got loose and it's not engaging anymore. Or the roll pin for the range gears could've also broke but that would result on a "floppy" lever with no resistance at all.

Does the pto still work?
It seems like others have mentioned it would be a linkage issue or the range gearbox is not in gear.
Good Luck

Here is something you can do. You will need a helper.

Make sure the tractor is off, park brake set, and the key is in your pocket. Lay under the tractor so you can see the linkage.

Have your helper sit in the drivers seat and push the forward petal. You should see number 3 in the picture rotate counter clockwise as the petal is pressed down. When the forward petal is released you should see number 3 rotate clockwise back to neutral.

Then have your Helper push the reverse petal. You should see number 3 rotate clockwise as the petal is pressed. And counter clockwise when the petal is released.

Make sure to tell your helper to move the petals slowly so you can watch all the linkage move.

Number 5 in the picture is the switch for the neutral light.

The yellow linkage may have come off as that is the only one that would keep the tractor from moving but still let the light turn off and engine RPM increase.

So, weird thing is......I went out this morning and started the tractor. It moves F/R now. however , ive noticed a pronounced " Growling " sound when either of the pedals are engaged.Almost like a power steering system when its low on fluid.. I checked the fluid again and it is full. I do notice the pedals seem to be stiffer with some feedback on them when they are engaged....feedback meaning almost like they are pushing back...I dont remember any of these things when I first used it.Linkage is good and PTO operates as well... I will contact the dealer tomorrow and let him assess it... TY for all of the suggestions....I will keep posted
