I have a 2910i and I have issue with brown paper looking residue constantly. I have took both tanks off and cleaned them bleach and hot water. Dried them out with air and then set in sun. (Late summer-plastic tank). If I didn't have 2 filters coming from tank, run time would be about 10 hrs and then I start having fuel starvation issues. Using on road fuel from truckstop (should be fresh) with power clean and startron biocide. Still having issues after several tanks of feul. Can it be the plastic tank; rubber feul lines or rubber fuel cross over hose????????? Any help or ideas appreciated, bl1951:confused::confused3:

Are you treating the fuel? Sounds like you need to if you aren't.

Yes. Used Powerclean and then some Startron which was supposed to know out algae. Used silver or white bottle for powerclean, maybe diesel kleen.
