Just went through the same issue today with my new to me 3520cx.
I was able to loosen the 2 inside bolts on both sides that attach the front loader frame to the rear and shift them in and gained probably 1/4 inch

My 5220 H was that way.
I just rounded the end off a bit
With a belt grinder.
