Branson 3120R ROPS parts

Howdy,

I have a damaged ROP on a Branson 3120R that I recently purchased. At some point in it's past, the ROP was only pinned at the hinge on one side. The tractor clipped an overhead object which stretched / weakened the hole that was pinned. There is nothing else broken/bent/damaged. I would like to get it replaced or repaired. I have not been able to find any ROPS parts. I think I can easily get someone to reinforce that area if necessary. I understand that repairs frowned upon however it might be my only reasonable option if parts are not available (or unreasonably expensive). Any helpful (non-judgemental/preachy) input would be appreciated.

I would get someone to repair and not think twice about it. Most quality welders can repair better than new.

Many "qualified" welders would not touch a ROPS.
Not saying it could not be done safely and useable but not many welders or shops would touch a ROPS.
If it was mine I would in a heart beat, mine and for me, not for someone else.

if this ROPS is the middle Mounted ROPS, the top half of it is this part #TA00028274A the lower half is Part # TA00028272A.
as for welding it if you know someone who is a highly skilled welder who has been welding for a very long time yea they could probably fix you up right, but i wouldn't trust just anyone to do that kind of repair, as you'll never know how strong that weld is until ( god Forbid) the tractor has rolled over and it's the only thing keeping the tractor from crushing you. if they didnt do a perfect job well... you get the idea.

It is a shame that in our country that all to often common sense is over-ridden by the fear of an obscure chance of getting sued. Just find a competent welder and fix it!

I have all the Rops parts off my 2400 that I will never use because I have a cab , wondering if it would cross over to your model ,Dan
