I’ve decided to sell my 2004 3510, it’s a geared tractor w/shuttle shift 4x4 with a front end loader and a canopy. I do plan to clean it up a bit, also a few cosmetic repairs will be made.
Its only got 322 hrs on it and I bought it new. Recent repair to hydraulics, new drive gear, new hydraulic pump, filters fluids.
I understand it’s worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but that doesn’t give me much direction.
I would appreciate any estimates on what you think it would sell for in your area.

Thanks,

Mike

I would think 75% to 80% of new would be fair. Looks like you took good care of it. Good luck.

Just off the top of my head I would bet lots of people would be willing to pay $8K. Maybe start at 10 and adjust accordingly? I'm told that supply chain issues continue and that new tractors are in short supply causing the used tractor prices to surge a bit.

It's also a "Pre-Tier IV" emissions tractor. Lots of folks make hay about that here on TBN. So I'd make sure you place that prominently in your sale advertisement.

Looks pretty clean. I think I'd hold pretty tight to $10K if I were selling that in today's market, tractors are scarce.

We just sold our 2005 3510i with a beat up backhoe for 12k. The backhoe was trashed from letting someone use the machine for a few years.
I also had a set of old euro style pallet forks with it.
The tractor purred like a kitten, and all the maintenance was up to date.

Not trying to take over your thread, but I recently acquired a Branson 3510, (~500 hrs) shuttle shift with FEL, with the knowledge it needed a head gasket/head worked. Tractor came from an Estate Sale. After quite a bit of pondering, I'm not sure if I have the expertise to fix it myself, and paying dealership to fix it is probably out of the question. I'm sure someone out there does have the ability/desire to fix this tractor and use it, or sell it for a profit. Does $5.5k seem too high?

No problem KaiseJeep,

I’m thinking I will list mine for $10k.
If I were a potential buyer for yours, I think I would need more info, or have to get it at a lower price. If it was as simple as a head gasket replacement, minor head work, I think it would be worth $5.5K for someone with the skills to do the work on their own. I would be concerned about the unknowns, (possible head or block issues, like a non repairable crack, did it hydrolock, etc). I have never removed a head on a tractor, but I’d be willing attempt The repair with the help of the knowledgeable people on this forum. Maybe you are located close to a knowledgeable forum member that could assist or help you evaluate where to go from your current situation?
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Mike
