Anyone have suggestions on why Branson 3510 has problems starting.

To give you useful suggestions some additional information is needed.
How old is the tractor?
Is the problem occurring only when it is cold?
What do you notice when there are problems starting; smoke, sounds, etc?
Common problems are lack of fuel, bad glow plugs,or a weak battery. W. Jones

Tractor only has about 400 hrs on it. Don't want to start hot or cold. New glow plugs , injectors rebuilt, injector pump has 2200 lbs.of pressure. Will start immediately with slightest amount of ether. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

That is puzzling. I can see ether being needed during a cold start, especially if the glow plugs were not working properly, but once warmed up it should not be hard to start.

I am guessing now, Are the fuel and air filters clean? Fuel fresh? Compression ok? Some one else with more experience needs to chime in with ideas. W Jones

If it is taking ether in decent weather I would have to say it's low compression or injector pump timing.
Unless the engine is cranking over slowly.
It could possibly be the shut off solenoid is not fully opening.

I had a problem with my 2002 Branson 3510 fuel pump, fuel lines and bracket that holds fuel filter bowl. My tractor needed help to crank but once cranked up it ran fine. If you shut it down and didn't start it within a day or so it needed help to crank and eventually would not crank.

First, I changed fuel filter and found plastic fuel filter bowl cracked, ordered new parts, changed and bled fuel system, it cranked up and I thought I had success, wrong same thing happening.

Second, I just thought the 12 volt fuel pump was sounding different, it was noticeably louder and within minutes it burned up, the small circuit board was charred. I found the cause it was the fuel lines pinching off, original fuel lines I guess. Replaced all fuel rubber lines except high pressure lines. It still didn't work. (up until this point I had someone helping me that knew what to look for)

Third, I just got lucky...while trying to bled injectors my daughter noticed fuel coming from bracket holding fuel filter bowl. Upon closer inspection the aluminum inlet and exit elbow were loose, I could not twist them but I could wiggle them straight out. I used J. B. Weld to secure them, bled again and success.

My tractor had a series of problems with the fuel delivery system.

Thanks for letting everyone know your solution. That really is an odd problem. Glad your daughter saw the leak. W Jones

Branson owners who have had a oil cooler go bad on them. I found a exact replacement from MODINE OIL COOLERS for about a third of the price Branson is raping us over. also some Mahindra starters will work as well. May have to dril]I had a similar problem and after much headache I found 2 or 3 loos wires shorting out in the connector block. The wiring is extremely tight on these tractors. Not hardly any extra length at all. Also check behind the fuse block for the same issue. There is no color code chart for these that I can find and the wiring diagram from Branson stinks and isn't sufficient. Had to manually trace these lines back. The end connectors within these connector blocks are not real good. I have had several wires I had to re-do due to them breaking off mainly due to wires being so tight. Oh yeah, for my fellow [/SIZE] out the mounting hole to the next size up, but its the same starter otherwise. I dound one on E-Bay for approx. 1/2 the cost. Guys and Gals I love my tractor, It is a great one ! But the parts issue is a huge problem and if they don't get the availability and ease of ordering these parts soon soon, I am most likely going to go to another brand in the future. Please excuse any typos, as I am having pretty bad vision problems. We all need to pitch in and share our parts info when we can. Maybe we can start a blog section on this sute for parts. Happy tractoring everybody

does anyone know wher I can find a replacement hydraulic pump (13cc) for a Branson 3510 other than Branson who wants a very steep $585.00 for it. Or even a builders kit ?
