Branson 3520 Replacement Battery?

Hello, I inherited my Grandfathers Branson 3520 and I am trying to get it fixed up for sale. It sat for a year or so before being moved up from TN to PA. I have a bad Stop Solenoid Assembly and a bad battery. I ordered a replacement solenoid and got that fixed but the battery needs replacing. Does anyone have the correct battery info for this? the only one that pops up is from wallmart or from the same place I ordered the solenoid from but they are ~$400 The battery in the tractor currently doesnt have any stickers, branding or any specs on it. Ive taken it to my local batteries + bulbs but they dont want to give me a battery that isnt spec.

Measure the length, height, and width and look for battery dimensions,
check for a group 31 maybe

Try a good auto parts store. One that's been around for a while and preferably isn't part of a chain. I've brought all kinds of batteries to the one in my nearest town and they've always been able to match them.

Thanks! I tried that too but everyone doesnt want to sell me a battery that doesnt have enough CCA's since its Diesel. Which I can appreciate but im fairly certain a battery thats rated for 1050 CCA's seems adequate considering my 2012 F350 Powerstroke just uses two batteries at 930CCA's

The group 31 suggestion looks to be the closest to the size!

Buy the highest CCA that fits the battery tray. You said they won't sell you a battery because it's for a diesel? Just buy a battery, its not rocket science.

You are talking about a 35 hp 1700 cc, about 100 cu. in. Engine more or less. Spare you boredom of the details.
You can easily start that tractor with a size 24 battery (WM stocks) that you used to find in older cars where most used the same size, not like today's different shape for every car out there. If you have room for a size 27 with lead terminals, or 31 which has the ⅜ studs put that in if it suits you.
