Branson 4225h EMISSION "Soot Cooker" Re-engineered?

I'm considering a Branson 4225h tractor.

I'm told it is a model year 2017 machine. I'm also told the more recently built 4225h machines have a new and improved "soot cooker" emission system. Perhaps with more platinum?
This change, if true, was to address tractor performance problems in the early production 4225h models.

Anyone know of this matter? If true, how severe were the problems? Does Branson offer to update the earlier machines with the new system?

When I bought my 3725 the dealer told me that the DOC or DPF (the "soot cooker" has one of each) on the 25 series had more catalyst than the one on the 20 series. I think techncially the DOC would have the catalyst as that's what the C stands for.

I'll ask a couple of guys i know at the Factory in Georgia see how true this may or may not be, i personally haven't been told they upgraded them they usually send that kind of info to me during our yearly service updates but i haven't received anything as of yet. currently as far as i'm aware all of branson's tractors use the 5.66 DPF filter
as for the 25 series having a better filter i believe you were lied i'm looking at the parts diagrams right now and both tractors use the same exact filter.

As for this issues Branson were having.
The main issue was that the filters would clog up a lot( mostly due to not running the tractor at a high enough RPM while working)
you can actually do what i call a preventative maintenance by running your tractor at the highest RPM you can get for about 30-45 mins once a month this will help get that filter hot enough to burn off any excess carbon build-up, or diesel fuel particulates.
Branson uses what they call a hot gas filter to accomplish the same thing that a DEF filter system does but in a branson it uses the heat from the Exhaust to heat the internal platinum screens to clean the filter.
as long as you maintain your working RPM's above 2k RPM while working you shouldn't ever have much problems out of it.
