Hey guys,

Due to the fact of loaders over here being quite expensive and since I have most of the steel for the loader frame and mounts, I've decided to design and build one using what I have already.

I've mostly figured out apart from the loader mounts that I'm still figuring out what to do.

My tractor comes with a mid mounted ROPS, this means it needs a bit more time to think on how to attach the mounts, which will be attached to the ROPS and will add reinforcements to the front of the tractor and also to the rear diff.

The only thing I need help is on the size of the pins. So if any of you that have a SL15, SL25, BL150 or BL200 loader could measure the loader's pin diameter and also the diameter of the pins of the mounts, I would be really thankful. From the pictures it looks around 1" or 25 mm.

Do you still need some measurements? Happy to do so, just let me know which ones.

Yes, I'm still interested. I'm looking for the diameter of the loader pivot pins, which one is easier for you to get an idea of the dimension. From the pictures it seems that are all the same diameter.

And also the diameter of the pin of the loader mount. It looks bigger than the other in the picture.

Thank you very much for taking the time.

Here are pics of my 3510 FEL.
The first might give you a clear idea of the original FEL and the second is one that I just happen to have of the FEL bracket mount to the side of the engine/transmission.
You can see how heavy metal that mount is made of and it has 6 bolts on each side.
In your pic you need a heavier cross member than you are showing and it needs gussets to stiffen it.

Thank for the pictures and sugestions Stimw.

My tractor has a mid mounted ROPS which makes things interesting when adding a loader. However the ROPS is built strong enough to have the loader attached to it. I will still add a couple for flat bar pieces going to the front of the tractor and also two more going underneath to the rear axle and I will also add a cross-member between the two loader mounts.

Yes, I will reinforce the crossmember. I might actually just weld 2 pieces of the rectangular tube together instead of a pipe, unless I come up with a thicker wall pipe.

Here is an updated design. I'm still figuring out the loader mounts.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for. If not, let me know. I'd say it is a 1 inch pin. Surprised it wasn't metric. IMG_20180720_182141336.jpgIMG_20180720_182147813.jpg

That's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much Tomlre. Yeah, it's probably metric. 1" is 25.4 mm.

I designed mine for a 7/8" pivot pin. I will change to 1". Even though this won't that the same capacity as the factory loader.

Not a problem my friend. Let me know if you need any other photos.

Just as a note all the loaders that I have seen on these newer tractors have rails wrapping around the tractor from the rear loader mounts tieing the the loader mounts the transmission and engine and front end together, also many will have a push bar that extends back to the rear axle housing.
I know from your other fabrication that you do a good job
Edit;
I just went back and read your original post you are already planning so.
