I'm the happy owner of a Branson 2400h (same as the 2800 without the turbo).
ULSD is what it eats, ULSD is all you can buy.
Your only choice is on road or off road diesel.
Same stuff, taxes are less on the off road.
I don't burn enough to worry about 20 cent a gallon difference.
As for attachments, A 4 foot brush hog, 4 ft tiller, 6 ft back blade, 6-8 ft springtooth or spike harrow, 8 ft drag, 4-6 ft disc , single bottom plow for sure, maybe a 2 bottom, not sure about that.
4x4 with the plow, most of the rest can use 2x4.
Bransons are a great little tractor, lots of power but you'll lose traction before bogging down.
Use that 4x4 !
You should also look into getting the backhoe, well worth the $$$.
I just got 60 poplar trees planted over a 1 week stretch, using the BH66 backhoe, in hard, hard, rocky ground.
One of the better investments I've ever made!

Anybody who is worried about the new fuel can just put a qt. of oil or atf in with a fill up.
The problem for older engines is lubing the injector pump.
I'm not worried about the fuel BUT I put my old deep fryer oil in the tractor fuel tank and let the tractor burn it!
It does make the exhaust smell like french fries!

Yes i see that U L S D is all that is offered in the us. I Read the EPA Regulatory Commission Report. Even Marine Diesel is a U L S D. I hear Seafoam is an excellent additive for Deisel and Gas many of the hands i work with use it in there tractors and heavy equipment and they swear by it.

Welcome to TBN.
ULSD is the recommended fuel for your tractor. As mentioned, it's all you can get today and should not need any additives unless you're in cold country (which you are not).

I use Sea Foam in everything but my diesels and I use Power Services products in them. Why the distinction? I guess it's from reading the "About Us" part of the PS web site. Don't worry about ethanol nor ULSD fuels. I don't have really any problems with any of my machinery and some of it dates back to the '60's. "Snake oil" works for me. I service it when I think it needs it and keep my lawn mowing blades sharpened or replaced.

I have the SL00 Loader and i am quite pleased with its performance. The only thing is tractor lifts on back end if to much product is scooped up with bucket so i have purchased a slimeair / water adapter kit with bleeder valve at tractor supply for 10 bucks to put water in my back tires to add some weight to eliminate lifting of rear end. i will buy me also a brush grubber original also at tractor supply for 50 bucks to remove small brush from my lot it will also pill up to a 3.5 in tree with a atv so my tractor should have no problem with this task.
