Yes the new ROPS are much nicer. They are still just as tall I believe, but they do break further up and should lay flat, not at a 45 angle like the older style. Much easier to install too!

The old ones didn't fold flat? It seems that would get in the way of some low hanging obstacles.

No for some odd reason that I still can't figure out, they didn't fold flat. They folded at a 45 degree angle. The new style are much nicer and you have 2 positions you can put the rops in when you fold them down, I believe. The improvement on this is very nice, and just goes to show how Kioti will improve on their product from customers response and dealer input. That speaks very highly of Kioti I feel.
