Breaking up chunks of dirt after subsoiling

I pulled my subsoiler in parallel lines about every tractor width (5 or 6 feet) through my 5-acre grass pasture.

In some areas, I was able to sink the subsoiler to the full depth (about 2 feet) and pull just fine. When I could do this, there is very minimal disturbance to the surface.

In other areas where the ground was more compact and dry, I had to raise the subsoiler up to a depth of about a foot, as the tractor (in 4-wheel drive) would lose traction with the ground. In the areas where I did this, the subsoiler tore up the surface quite a bit, so I now have big clods (some of them quite large) of torn up sod in these areas.

My question is what implement I should use to break these up without significant further damage to the other undisturbed grass in between the subsoiler lines?

I was thinking of possibly a disc harrow, but would this tear up the undisturbed sod? (I don't own a disc harrow yet, but it is on my list of implements to purchase.)

Would a plugger/aerator with a chain harrow behind it maybe work better (I have a chain harrow, but no plugger/aerator)?

Any other suggestions?

you can drag a section of chain link fence with a 4x4 on the trailing edge. its not enough to rip the grass up by the roots but should break up the clods and even them out.

Chain harrow on the smooth side would probably do the best job of breaking up the clumps with minimum damage to the grass other than laying it down.

I'll try the chain harrow, but this is heavy clay loaded with grass roots. I think the chain harrow will just drag over it, or maybe drag with clumps around. I doubt the chain harrow will break them up.

I have a Pirahnaa PTO rock rake, clone to a Harley. It does a great job with the rear trailing wheels leaving a flat smooth surface. Would not be without one.
