Would any member's have an idea of what the horsepower is on a 825 series Brigg's? I've done a search on the web and can only find torque rating.

Do the newer OHV Brigg's run better than the old reliable flat heads? Thank's.

should be about a 6-6.5 horse power. Wouldn't say they run better or worse than the older engines, but think they tend to be more cooling sensitive but that is mainly due to the fact the the newer emissions engines run hotter than the older engines.

Thank's Randy, I went to the Brigg's web site and all they were listing was torque spec's,
My brother has this old Dart go-cart and he picked up a used 825 to use on it and we were just trying to figure out what it was putting out hp wise.
Now all we have to do is find out how to make it faster.:D
