This isn't necessarily Cub related, but since there are quite a few knowledgable people here, I was hoping you could help me a little....
My Dad and I looked at Everrides this weekend (for him). They have a sale right now on the Warrior models with the B&S Extended Life series 26 hp engine. Looks to be a fairly well-made ZTR, but the Briggs unit - although rated at 26 hp - puts out only around 33 ft/lbs of torque (if I remember correctly). The rest of the Warrior lineup (including the 25 hp Kohler) put out around 40-44 ft/lbs....
Does anyone have any insight to the amount of bogging you could expect to eliminate with the extra 8 or 10 lbs? I would assume it to be substantial. Although my dad rarely mows either deep or wet grass, he does mulch - and sometimes bag - a tremendous amount of leaves. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
