Spreader Broadcast Spreader

I recently bought a used broadcast spreader and of course the guy didn't have an of the manuals. I believe that it may be the same as the Cosmo 500 that TSC sells as it has the same TSC model number and was made in Italy. I've operated them before, but always for someone else and haven't ever had to adjust anything on them. The gate adjustment seems pretty straight forward and the sticker is still on the unit for the various gate settings. However, I don't know the proper procedure to set-up the paddles. I can't seem to find any link to the manuals on-line so any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated. Thanks
