Kioti DS3510 Husqvarna GT48DXLS
I have a Kioti DS3510 that I had to make a quick dismount to the right from, and I broke the loader control in the process. I fabbed an aluminum bracket to replace the obviously broken one in the linkage, and got it working without replacing the entire unit (they don't sell the broken part, and the unit is $700+) but the float function doesn't lock in. I may be able to adjust that to work, but really want a grapple - so I was considering changing it out to one of these: 3 SPOOL 25 GPM JOYSTICK LOADER VALVE W/GRAPPLE .

Am I on the right track?

Um, pretty unit you show. Starting from scratch might be a good way to go.

My Kioti doesn't have spools connected to the joystick... it has control cables that go to the control block under the right floorboard.

Is yours that different?

Float is in the control block (valves) under the floor (in mine) not in the joystick.

(edit to add): when you say control unit, you do mean the joystick and associated parts, right?)

The only thing I see is the valve is 25gpm and tractor is a lot less, but it well work.

Yes, the DS3510 has hydraulic lines from the pump to the joystick, with QCs on top of the joystick and 4 hydraulic hoses from there to the FEL. When I disconnect the FEL, that's where it separates. No cables at all.

Thanks for the clarification, Teachu2. That's enough different I don't think I can make recommendations. :(

Did some research at Surplus Center and discovered that the higher flow rate will cause diminished fine control. They sell a compact two spool unit that's probably more appropriate, and I can plumb in a third function later if I buy a grapple. Less than $300 delivered, vs $750 for the somewhat fragile factory unit without any parts availability....

I think that is the way I would go.
