Not sure on the $s and stuff but I wanted to pass something on to all the hydro owners out there.While doing a all round check of things on my R3644 hst.(shortly after I bought it new) I noticed the cheap little rubber breather under the seat frame was torn and left an open hole Into the transaxle housing!!The dealer was able to get one under warranty no problem but was concerned that water/dirt had got inside the housing.We checked it all out and it appears that I caught it in time.I had found a better vent used in heavy truck diffs(metal) and have not installed the rubber one because its crap.Everyone should check this vent so often to make sure nothing is getting in your transaxle.This would lead to failure VERY quickly I would think. I hope this saves someone having troubles later on.
