I was bush hogging and a flung chunk snapped the hydraulic oil filter off where it threads on the filter bracket taking the threads off the bracket as a bonus. :(

Thank goodness for cell phones, I ordered the parts standing in the field. They were supposed to come in next wednesday but they arrived Saturday (yesterday) so I was able to get the bracket replaced along with a new gasket, filter and about 6 gallons of hydraulic fluid. Except for the $334.00 bill
that I have yet to tell SHMBO about all is good.

I still haven't found the old filter.

Ouch! Just one of those ways that Mother Nature works against us sometimes, I guess. Good thing your dealer knew from your description what they needed to order, and without part numbers. Some of the parts desks can't seem to do much without a part number anymore! ;)

Glad you got it fixed so quickly. . . and good luck with your SHMBO.:)

Not sure but the filter is underneath the foot area or so I assume. Good thing the chunk stayed down below. Think what it could have done had it hit a solid surface and come back to you! kt
