I had a buddy find the picture of my broken cylinders on his phone. I do have a picture of the pile but i have to find somebody that has that one since I do not. Check it out let me know what you guys think. Dealer though it was weird they both broke like that. Thanks

looks like the threaded part broke off in the piston. picking up to much weight. Any HYD shop can replace the ram. No big deal really unless there is some damage inside the cylinder.

The HYD shop will need the broke end too so they can make a bushing for the bucket pin.

Looks like you need heavier duty cylinders!

Were you driving with the bucket down and the rams extended all the way?

Big long tine grapple pushing / scraping ground with cylinders all the way extended = broken cylinders. lucky they gave out before your loader frame.

What size and brand grapple was on the tractor when this happened?
What other FEL implements do you use on your loader, brand and model?
I seem to recall but can't say where it was posted; a recent thread discussing how backdragging with fully extended loader cylinders can do extensive damage, including breakage, and if one then tries to lift the grapple, as in your case, the other cylinder would suffer what you show in your pics, failure too.
Maybe someone here can recall what thread I'm referring to?
What weight is your grapple unloaded?
Can you post some pics of your entire tractor and some of your other FEL implements?
One last, for now, question: what # of hours on your tractor?

I would take the broken parts to a hydraulic shop, and ask them how they think this happened, and how to not have it happen again.

The Reason why I was so upset about them breaking is because I was not doing any of the following things that where posted. I know you can't extened the bucket with the grappler down and drive forward. I also don't use the grappler for trying to gets roots out simply collecting brush. What happened was I drove forward into a small brush pile , hit the third function switch lifted up and all of a sudden I see hydro oil shooting everywhere. I get out to look and I don't see anybroken hose. I looked around some more, and then Seen the one cyclinder shaft broke. At this point I could see the weight all went over to the other cyclinder. I quickly got back into machine to slowly drop the loader to the ground, and bang the other cylinder let lose and everthing came crashing down. i can't even begin to tell you what a mess it made with the hydro oil spraying everywhere. The grappler weight is 585. If I recall I think it's made by Cleveland equipment. I think it's 68 or 72 wide. The only other attachment I for the front is the bucket that came with my machine. As for the back dragging I have a boxblade and a landplane for the rear that I usually will use when doing stone or dirt work. But I can see your point about using the front bucket and back dragging putting stress. Machine had I think 272 hours on it when this happen. I had a bobcat ct450 and never had this issues, but I do believe the loader was better. From what the dealer told me bobcat used there own loader and backhoe. The backhoe on the bobcat was way better then the one on my nx.

When I took it to the dealer he was schocked that both had broken. He was even more shocked they both broke in almost the same identical spot. The loader was probably a few months out of warranty when this happened. I called kioti and explained what happened. I'm not sure if my dealer sent them picture or not, but after talking to them twice and asking if they would cover just the parts I would pay labor they said no and the loader was out of warranty. I was upset because I wasn't asking them to pay the full bill. The other reason I was upset when I had my bobcat and was dealing with bestline equiment I had two cyclinders that kept blowing out the seals on my backhoe. They not only picked my machine up to fix, they brought me out a mini excavator to use tell them fixed mine. They also ended up replacing all the cyclinders on the backhoe. What was funny the machine was a year and half over the backhoe warranty. This time around. Was only a few months over. At this point I paid to have them fix and life goes on.

There's this---My NX6010 was taking a beating when I was using the root grappler. The hood and front grill are pretty smashed in. I got two pieces of expanded metal and made this. Wish I would have done this when the machine was new. I highly recommend doing this is using a root grappler
