- Farm Pro 2420 (Jinma 200) & SVET46K Skid Loader, Raven MPV710 Mower
During a routine bolt tightness check on my Farm Pro 2420, I found some loose bolts on the inside hub - it turned out they came loose when the "hub cover" completely broke in half (see attached picture). I have no idea how long it had been that way, but I hadn't noticed any performance problems (such as the wheel falling off). This was my first major problem with the tractor, which is past its 6 month warranty, and has around 100 hours on it.
I called Farm Pro customer service. They not only had the part in stock, but shipped it to me no questions/no charge.
I also had good service with them when I purchased the tractor at the Homier traveling tool show. The manager of the show apparently was a tractor dealer on the side, and took the time to go over the tractor with me and load it on my trailer.
Since the standard line in these groups seems to be "buy from a local dealer", I thought I'd report my experience so far. I actually tried to buy local, and called several Jinma and Farm Pro dealers, but no one could come within $1500 of the price (and nobody was carrying the cheap 2wd model in stock).
Anyway, so far so good.....
