I know nothing about hyrdaulics or cylinders compared to what other people here know.
That said, no one yet has suggested how you can tell what kind of cylinder you have and where you might buy a new replacement cheap.
So, my .02 and correct me if I am wrong
Measure the diameter of the rod. Measure the rod from closed position from center of connecting hole to center of connecting hole. Measure the rod fully extended the same way. (Subtract the two to know how far your rod extends). Finally, the hardest is to figure out what size cylinder you have. It is an internal measurement. If you can easily take it apart you can just measure the internal diameter. If not, you can measure the outside diameter and deduct around 1/2" for the thickness of the two sides of the tube.
The sell cylinders like 2.5" and 14" stroke with a 1.25 Rod. Sounds good until you find out the overall length is two inches longer than what your tractor requires.
Now go to Surplus Supply or Baileys and have fun getting it exact. Oh, and buy EXACT. Generally it is a bad idea to put a larger or smaller in place of on any hydraulic part unless you really know physics and what you are doing.
As for ratings, unless you have a special application most cylinders are rated at 3K psi.

I propose that any new cylinder that you get like that one is gonna break, also, unless you put a stop cleat on the cylinder rod. The blade has run out of travel but the cylinder has not. The cross sectional area of metal remaining after the hole was drilled is way too small to support the load you put on it.
It'd just weld it back together and add a lot of shoulder to the whole hole region. Holy moly thats the whole truth. If it was me, I'd weld a collar onto the end and redrill the pin hole.

I would first try welding the existing end back on. Rewelding the end on will could be stronger than the orginal. If it breaks again, cut the entire end of the rod off and weld on a new end but keep it overall at the same retracted and stroke length. Either option is much cheaper than ordering a new cylinder or having a hydralic shop make a new rod.
