Broken Hydrostatic pedal mount, any help?

I broke the mount for my hydrostatic pedal on my 2005 Kubota BX2230. Pictures are below. The part that broke does not look like it was designed to be easily replaced. Looks like the shaft it is on is welded on one side and i'm not sure about the other side, but it is definitely not a nut or other device holding it on.

any one have ideas how to fix this issue? any info appreciated.

This might not be the right schematic but you can go on Kubota's parts website and look around.

I have a feeling this repair will not turn out well or cheap. Please keep us updated on how it goes. I have BX 2200. Did you grease it regularly and symptoms like hard pedal push before it failed ?

Looks like cast iron by the way it broke. I would bet a new piece is available and that's probably the best way to fix it.

okay. thanks to whistlepig, i found the parts schematic that show every part on the tractor, with exploded diagrams, part numbers, etc.

it's held on with a cir-clip, easy to get off with circlip pliers

I found a place that sells the part. $27 + shipping.

nc redneck: it wasn't a product fail at all. it was operator error. I was mowing by a swingset, a chain from a swing got caught or looped under the pedal and when I backed up it tore that SOB right off.

not too costly of a screw up....this time

Well know that you are not alone in the universe with this problem. My 3 point log splitter took a tumble and landed square on the pedal, snapped it off just like yours. Thanks to your misfortune I know how to fix mine, so thanks!
