I have an ATI quick disconnect plate on the front of my loader. One of my pins is broken. I believe it's the same pin used with factory loader. Picked up new pin at dealer. Any ideas to help remove what's left of the old pic would be helpful. Thanks.

Drift/pin/punch/rod and BFH, typically for things like that. Watch for something to shift once it breaks free, and try to not let it kill you...

Ram some grease in that zerk, support the piece and have at it with a drift punch or a grade 8 bolt that is smaller than the hole and a hammer.

Might try driving out the old pin with the new pin and the BFH. Just be careful to not bugger up the end of the new pin.

Yep, drift and hammer would seem to be the obvious method. None of our business, but really has me wondering how one breaks one of those pins. Hard use in cold weather comes to mind, as does a defective pin, corrosion or lack of lubrication, but under ordinary conditions it would require some extreme use to break a loader pin like that.

x5. Punch, bolt, or whatever and BFH

I got a gear puller that might work. Would save beating the heck out of your equipment.

The correct procedure would be to drive it out with a 'bullet' (tapered pin of same size) or any dowel, bolt or rod that is narrower.
The whole idea is not to mushroom the damaged pin.
Using a bullet to align and insert a new pin is the best way to go.

I remove and insert my loader pins twice yearly (for my plow) and made me a 'bullet' that is pin sized.
Using a bullet aligns the holes perfectly and you then push out the bullet with the new pin without any damage with ease.

Piloon, sounds like what we call a drift pin- a tapered steel punch or pin to align holes for assembly.
