Brush Bull

Ive got a qusetion for Woodsbrush Bull owners here. I read an add in a trader mag today and it had 3 implements in it. a King cutter 5 foot landscape rake 65.00 and a 5 foot disc that has the flip up rear gang for 65.00. both in super shape and a woods 6 foot Brushbull with 25 hours on it for 850. I dont need the brush bull but may buy it to sell to my boss as ours is gettin old and worn out. I bought the rake and disc for 130.00. The Brushbull looks like new only mowed serica and sage grass. I dont have a woods dealer nearby to see what the new price was.

There's a BB72, a BB720, and a BB7200. (Light, Medium, and Heavy duty) Let's assume it's the BB72.... Last one I saw on a dealers lot was around $1400. (Don't know if that was MSRP, or just the dealers price) Sounds like a good price on the one you're interested in....

I'd say a very good price on the one you're looking at. The light duty Woods compares to the medium duty cutters of some other brands.

It must be a BB72, which is the "light duty"** unit. The medium and HD units would be much more costly. I got my BB72 for $9xx new almost 2 years ago. It's been a fine cutter... no problems. Since steel prices skyrocketed, I think a 2 YO unit with low hours would sell for clost to the new prices of a year or 2 ago.



**It's a robust unit, and could almost pass for a "medium duty" unit.

I purchaced a Woods BB720 (medium duty) last year for well over double what they are asking. Even if it is a BB72 (light duty) I am certain you would have no problem selling it, Woods has a great reputation/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
