I just one have no idea what brand and have never used one. I have two questions. First is how close to the edge front, back and side is the blade supposed to track? i got new blades and they are about an inch longer( the old ones look like machetes). Im guessing they were never changed. The sides are pretty beat up and turned under a little, the new blades hit the sides. should not hit after i fix the sides just close. Secondly when i was trying to spin the blade i had the pto locked in gear while i was looking at the clearance, and o can stiill spin the blade, stump jumper, but the nut and shaft also spin not the pto shaft.Normal?? or do i get to dig? thanks guys... jon

Bet the blades are to long than. But if they don't hit anything, than should work?

You need to splain the second part a little better.

ok i put the tractor pto in gear to lock the blade in one spot, i went under and grabbed the stump jumper. you can move the blades not easy but i can spin it. the shaft under moves with the blades but the pto doesn't. i am on my way out just to make sure the shear pin aint broke.

ok never mind on part 2 it looks like the pto clutch is letting it slip never trust a 5 year old to tell you if something is moving!! he did learn a good lesson on safety. i put a jack stand under the mower and he went into the shop got another for the otherside, i almost cried!! thats my boy..

its amazing when you bend the sides back to where they are supposed to be they now have lots of clearance. i went to a dealer and looked and measured the new one has less clearance in front than mine so i guess im good. all i have to do now is weld new skids on and go to town.
