Rotary Cutter Brushbull or Bushog Squealer

I have found two almost new bushogs for sale.One is a Woods Brushbull that is about one year old,the other is a Bushog Squealer that is maybe 3 years old but looks new. I like both and the cost and location are about even. Which one do I want and why?

I have a Bushhog Squealer SQ600. Never had an issue with it. Very well built.

Definitely - go with the heavier unit.

Don't know the size or model numbers your looking at but it looks like maybe the Bush Hog has a higher HP rated gearbox. Woods Brushbull rated to cut 1.5 inch material and the Bush Hog 2 inch.

Brushbulls come in different duty ratings. Without the numerical model number, you don’t know what it is rated for.

Woods BrushBulls came in three different duties; light, medium, & heavy. The longer the number, the heavier duty. For 6' they went BB72. BB720. BB7200. Then in 2020 Woods changed how they numbered them.

I don't think that you will go wrong with either one , both companies make good rough cut mowers.

Personally, I moved from Bush Hog to Woods, and I think Woods has the better cutter...

I still think we need to know the exact model numbers.

I bought the BB72. I think it is an x model, whatever that means. I can't wait to try it out. Thanks guys.
